Seven Objects is a process based work in which a clay object inspired by the Venus of Wilendorf figurine was made. The artist broke and put together this object seven times using seven different methods. The motivation behind objects such as the Venus of Wilendorf are unknown, but many assumptions among art historians and anthropologists prevail. Some of these are in regards to the spiritual beliefs of people of that time, along with the role art played in that time. Evoking innate desires within all of us to create and to find meaning in life, the repetitive breaking and fixing resembles a journey of change.
